Transformers (and other 80's things)

ok folks, who here collects things of there childhood?

I know I collect the old Transformers and GI Joe episodes
hopefully one day i'll even get the cash to huntin for all the GI Joe and Transformer toys I destroyed when I was a kid

I collect the transformers eps that are sold by Rhino. And some of the new transformers figures, but I am picky about those.

I never did like Beast Wars / Beast Machines toys...but the Episodes I liked (after about the 2nd season of Beast Wars)
I usually download Transformers eps from www.tfarchive.com
though I have bought the majority of the Rhino videos and the re-release of the Transformers Movie on DVD (which was amazing how well they clean it up)

I have the re-realease on VHS. Now I need the DVD. I can't wait to see the new anime Transformer import this fall.

anime version? the 3 old series from japan or something else entirly?

No, this a 4th newer one. Named Car Robots back in Japan. Here in the US will be called "Transformers: Robots in Disguise" It's basically the autobots back to their car modes and destrons(decepticons) are the animals/monster forms. It's really cool. It will be on fox again. Also the cool toys hit stores this summer.
